Concertation Montréal (CMTL) and its collaborators are committed to helping you discover responsible and sustainable textile consumption practices. Let yourself be carried away by the rallying effect of its Textile and Clothing Community of Practice, and join industry professionals to explore alternatives to consumption and waste through a varied program of activities.
Intimidated by the needle? Want to discuss the impact of the textile and clothing industry? Need to repair a garment? Looking for brands that design and create products with fabrics destined for landfill? Consult our Circular Explorations program below to choose the activity that meets your needs, and join us at the Pôle Textile de l'Escale circulaire, a stone's throw from the Berri-UQAM metro station.
Patch Party" workshop - Monday, September 16, 6 to 9 p.m.
Bring your clothes to be revitalized, and everything you need is provided! A Raton accompanies you as you explore embroidery stitches to create and apply patches that will bring your favorite piece back to life.

Collective textile work - Tuesday, September 17, 5 to 7 p.m.
Take part in the creation of a unique work of art from clothes and scraps destined for landfill, while reflecting on our relationship with time and over-consumption. No sewing skills required, just the desire to sew and share with Studiomaisontulipe!
