Collaborative textile workshop
Join us for a unique workshop on September 17, 2024. Together, we'll create a textile work from old clothes and fabrics, using quilting, patchwork and embroidery techniques. This workshop is an opportunity to reflect on overconsumption, our relationship with time and the importance of our territory, while having fun creating!
Materials (old clothes considered rejects) will be provided by Renaissance. No sewing skills required; we'll guide you.
The aim is to create collectively, to amplify our message on the urgency to act and to promote our local know-how. Illustrators and visual artists are also welcome to enrich the work.
You can bring your own tools: needles, threads, scissors, etc., but we'll also have some on site. For more info or questions, contact me at: rachelfortin7@gmail.com.
Take part in this artistic adventure and contribute to an essential dialogue while enjoying the pleasure of creating together.
We look forward to meeting you and creating with you!
-Rachel
