Core Fabrics Launches Its First Sustainable Fashion Contest
An initiative born of a deep conviction: local independent designers and creators who produce with purpose deserve to be celebrated. Through July 19, independent fashion and accessory designers in Quebec are invited to submit their applications to participate in an event dedicated to concrete eco-design initiatives carried out in 2025 and 2026.
We are proud to have exceptional partners: Fashion Takes Action, with whom we are collaborating to distribute the Design Toolkit to the community of socially conscious designers; CSMO Textile, which will provide training in the circular economy to each of the winners; and Cirque du Soleil, which will chair the judging panel and contribute to the Innovation Award. Our final jury also benefits from the expertise of Ariane Brunet, a renowned sustainable designer, as well as other experts in the circular economy.
On Monday, September 21, starting at 5 p.m., the most sustainable and long-lasting projects that combine an ecological vision with practical feasibility will be highlighted.
Three winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship at the awards ceremony.
