Origami Customs and Elio Choquette invite you to participate in IN/EX/CLUSIVE, an event presented as part of mmode’s Montreal Fashion Week 2026.
Through a series of presentations, exhibitions, and panel discussions moderated by Elio Choquette (architect, inclusive design consultant, and artist), the event aims to create space and spark discussions about what true inclusion entails, and how the fashion and design industries perpetuate fatphobic biases—conversations that still take place far too rarely at mainstream events such as fashion weeks.
By providing a platform and forum where ideas, discussions, and connections can flow freely among panelists, industry professionals, the Montreal fashion community, and the general public, IN/EX/CLUSIVE will highlight diverse voices working in the fields of fashion, design, architecture, and curatorial practices, such as Rae Hill (Origami Customs), Murielle Bien-Aimé (Maison Komandō), Amanda Lickers (artist, designer, and curator), Adania Reyes (artist and model), and many others.
Come spend your Sunday afternoon with us to get to know artists, brands, and creators who are shaking things up in the world of fashion and design—and who are making a difference locally by raising awareness of inclusive design, fat liberation, anti-ableist justice, issues facing 2LGBTQIA+ communities, and more!
Location to be announced—stay tuned!
Sunday, September 27, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
