Personality Project10
How about exploring mental health... through a textile fashion show and exhibition?
Mental health is often misunderstood. Personality disorders even more so. They are complex, nuanced realities... but often reduced to stereotypes. We create artistic garments inspired by 10 personality traits. Each textile piece explores a facet of the human being, between light and vulnerability. A project to think, feel... and see differently. Works that walk, talk and question. To open discussion. To build bridges. To change the way we look at mental health.
This awareness-raising project is in collaboration with various players, including creator Jean-Claude Poitras, people with lived experience, psychiatrists, the Sashbear Mental Health Foundation and art therapy organization Les Impatients.
We are organizing the launch of this project. To mark the occasion, a cocktail reception will be held at the Hôtel St-Sulpice in Montreal's Old Port at 5:00 pm. Presentations will begin at 6:00 pm.
Admission to this event is $10. A draw for sponsor gifts will be held after the presentations.
So, what do you think?
