On September 22, 2026, let yourself be enchanted by a unique exhibition-performance co-organized and presented by the Marguerite-Bourgeoys Historic Site and Maison Saint-Gabriel, in collaboration with Fibreshed Québec and numerous artists and artisans.

Set against the backdrop of the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel and its vaulted ceiling, let yourself be swept away by the rhythms of contemporary organ music and enjoy a unique sensory experience.

  • Live demonstrations: Meet the artisans and discover the traditional processing of certain natural fibers;
  • ‍Hidden Treasures: Admire rare textile artifacts that have been brought out of storage especially for this occasion;
  • ‍Current Collections: Get a sneak peek at contemporary fashion designs inspired by New France and Acadia (a preview of the exhibition *Legacy and Possibilities*, which will subsequently be on view at the Acadian Museum in Quebec).

This event will also celebrate the rich heritage of the Congregation of Notre-Dame and will serve as an opportunity to unveil the “Patrimoine tricoté” solidarity project organized by the community outreach program at Maison Saint-Gabriel.

In collaboration with Fibreshed Québec / Artists and artisans.

Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
